Mom’s been here since Wednesday. Her lungs are full with nodules that are cancer. There is also a 6 cm mass on her right shoulder, either causing her lymphedema, or from her lymphedema. She’s in a lot of pain, and her dementia is showing more then ever. She sleeps most of the day, but can eat and take her meds. She’s basically just calling out for Jon in her sleep even though I answer it’s me. Hospice will bring a hospital bed to her house tonight, and she’ll go home tomorrow. Not sure how long she will have. The doctors said weeks to months.
