I never know what hotel I’m booking months earlier… just going off pictures.. when we came into this town yesterday, I was a little worried at where I booked our room, but this room is awesome! The hotel has only been open about 9 months. It’s a huge room, with a kitchen and huge bathroom and closet. Score!

Today’s park visit was one of our most favorite. We took the elevator down 750 feet into the caves. We walked for about a mile each way throughout the caves. The temperature was a cool 56 degrees. We thought Drew would talk loudly down in the silence, but he didn’t.  We ate lunch while driving about 30 more miles on National park Highway to Guadalupe Mountains National Park.
