Of course we had to stop in Target in Colorado Springs to pick up the latest Avengers movie which was released today.
We then headed to the park to meet Bern for a picnic. We got sprinkled on several times while trying to picnic. See the panic of getting twins, Drew, food, and gear out of the water path?!
We then headed west into the mountains.
First stop- Royal Gorge Bridge just outside of Canon City. Here Amelia is peeking around the strategically placed fence blocking our view.
There’s the bridge, and all the smaltz..
Now on to Salida- about 45 miles
What? Again? Higher elevation (7000 feet) and exploding chip bags!!
