Our neighbor up the street fosters abandoned puppies. This last litter of 5 puppies was left on a street in a box hungry and dehydrated. One puppy did not survive. The puppy named Rosie, was in bad shape as well - severely dehydrated and having seizures. This last litter of puppies caught our eye.... well mostly Jenna's eyes. She spent many afternoon up at our neighbors playing with the puppies- Rosie, Truman, Star and Theo ( a chihuaha/terrier/yorkie mix)... (Patriotic themed names- that's what our neighbors do - they pick a theme to name the puppy litters). We went to the humane society last Wednesday after school to place an application. The employees said they would take 4 applications per puppy. The puppies were to be placed back into the humane society last Thursday - when they were approximately 9 weeks old. I got a call the very next morning. That they would not be taking anymore applications, and that Rose was ours. We would have to wait until Monday (today) to pick her up after she was spayed. That brings me to this picture.... This morning. Jenna and I have made our dining room - Rose's room. We're getting ready!
Let me back track a minute... Notes of persuasion were left around the house these past few weeks by a certain someone...
And on our way home with Rose. She doesn't feel the best right now!
We all went today!
And puppy staring at girls....
A puppy not feeling well.... Meet Rose Violet (Ava picked Violet for now) a 4.7 lbs - 9-10 week old puppy mix - our newest family member
