Family Adventure! Sanibel!!

 We spent spring break on Sanibel Island. 

 

Here's Jenna the first morning still in her pj's.  "Oh yeah, I remember this place!"

Drew and I stayed on shore taking pictures of this bird hunting fish in the tide pool.

 

My bike riding people.  They biked to 7/11 for slurpees.

 

Drew and I walked to the lighthouse.

 

The next day we showed Dave what we found new at the lighthouse.

 

We all took a shot at fishing.  We got nothing.

 

I loved this tree and this setting for photos.

 

And this palm tree.

 

At the tip of the island (punta) we had to stay on the road.  High tide behind us!

 

Amelia loved this shell pile. 

We all took a break to look for "minis".

 We thought this was funny. It started the first night as I was taking a photo of Ava and the others photo bombed her.  We did this every night........

 

I loved this photo of the beach at sunset.

 

Birthday celebration time.  One problem the bakery spelled Jenna - "Genna".

 

The fish cake is a hit.
