3 1/2
Jenna is 3 1/2 now! On April 15, 2009, a few weeks after her birth I put her name on the wait list for the same little preschool program Amelia attended at Urbana High School. TODAY WAS JENNA'S FIRST DAY! It rained like crazy most of the day, probably the heaviest when we were walking into the classroom. I tried to keep Jenna dry, myself dry, and the important paperwork dry, only to have Jenna walk straight through several major puddles completely covering her shoes. She didn't complain about her wet feet. She's been ready to go to school it seems like forever now. When we walked in, Jenna headed straight to the green sand table. She drew a picture, shopped and attended a tea party all on her first day! Her class will meet every Tuesday and Thursday morning.
At 3 1/2 Jenna is right along side her sisters, holding her own with them and our visiting neighbor friends. She's taking dance now, but asking to go back to gymnastics. She loves taking care of her baby doll's Mary & Quincy and her pink rabbit. She takes Mary to the store to show her the hotdogs, she sings to her, she feeds her, plays with her, and holds her on her shoulders like her dad carries her. Jenna is still a buddy to Andrew, helping to lift him, giving him his toys and drink. Jenna loves to play basketball and pool in the basement with Daddy, asking him the minute he gets home from work to go to the basement. She plays Amelia's DS and has several websites on the computer she asks to play.
Now... what will I do on Tuesday and Thursday mornings????? Hmmmmm.....
