Yesterday the girls were telling me they would be waking up in the "3's" (3:00am) to put together a surprise for me this Mother's Day morning. I told them it would be better to get up in the "6's", because I would wake up in the "7's". They talked all day yesterday about what they would be doing - whispering to each other and telling Dave. Well, this morning in the "6's" I heard what I thought were door knocks. Dave went to check that out. The girls were safely in the family room - just sitting there. Dave asked them what they were doing. They said they didn't know what to do!! Dave took all three girls to Dunkin Donuts to pick me up breakfast. Drew and I got a few extra zzzz's in the unusually quiet house. I was surprised to breakfast in bed and a homemade pin and card from Amelia, already had received my card from Ava on Friday, and lots of kisses and hugs from my babies.
We had a wonderful day of just hanging out here and working outside.
Happy Mother's Day to our great moms too!
