Took Jenna to her 15 month appt. today. Jenna weighs 21lbs, 6oz, (25%), 32inches tall (85%). Jenna had 3 shots, and got her blood drawn for CBC, specifically her iron levels and lead poisoning. She cried for her shots, but not at the lab for her blood draw. All else was normal for the visit.
A quick update on all things Jenna... she's climbing up on chairs, stools, couches. She still likes her walking toys (the firetruck and princess car). She'll stack blocks now, instead of just knocking them down. She loves to pull food out of the cabinets and stack that around the house. With our last vacation spent pretty much in the water- Jenna loves the water now and could play in her baby pool all day long. (Not this week though.. temps have been over 100 degrees)....Jenna will give you kisses if you ask for them and will give Drew kisses if we ask her too. She says "Hi" all the time and will say "Hi Dada" when she hears him come home. She'll hear the "beep-beep" of the door and run to see who just came in. She still says night-night, ba-ba, mama, dada and the basic sounds. Every once in awhile she seems to mimic a word that was just said. She loves to listen to us ask her what different sounds animals make - this is how I can keep her still for diaper changes which she doesn't do. She is sleeping pretty much through the night now. I will put her to bed at 7:30pm and she will cry out around 10. I will give her a bottle then and then she's quiet until about 6:30am. She's taking one nap a day - around noon and for a few hours. She's eating mostly table foods, but definitely eats more at certain meals than others. She loves cut up chicken, ham and fruit. She just started liking pasta. She's drinking from her cup, except at night. She still goes crazy for anyone elses drink...I think that about covers it for now...........
Drew is at camp at his school for July and Amelia has Bible camp this week at church. Ava, Jenna and I are just hanging out! Oh, and our dishwasher came yesterday!!!! We needed that BAD!!!
