MORE Graduation Stuff

Mary dropped off a card, flowers and chocolate chip cookies for Drew today

See these rocks? We all had been working on them for months to give away as party favors at Drew’s graduation party. We started working on them in January. We all would sit around the kitchen table and think of something that reminded us of Drew, or to celebrate the class of 2020, or our family and friends. Many of the rocks are made in mind of certain people, mostly are made to honor Drew. There are at least 100 painted rocks here. We all enjoyed this project!  We were going to set these rocks on a table with a sign and ask our guests to take one when they left. In the spirit of kindness rocks, the person could keep it as a memory, or hide it in the community. Now... what to do with our beautiful rocks?!

Today

Corona cation - Stay at Home order was kind of lifted... we’ve moved into a phase 1 as of last night...  

Started the day with a visit from Chuck who runs with ASA. This is the group that Drew is a part of and participates in various 5ks. Today was ASA Virtual Runfest. Chuck ran a 5k in our neighborhood. We cheered him on!

Our neighbors cheered him on with chalk art!

We came home and found Fathead Drew had been delivered. We bought this for the drive by graduation we thought we’d have... 

Someone (I mean me) might have Sent Drew’s photo on for tonight’s special.. Graduate Together Class of 2020 which aired tonight at 8pm. His picture showed in the very first segment with Lebron James

Graduation socks on this graduation day!

We opened our stinky pool! Not so bad...

While Drew and I enjoyed the weather, these beautiful flowers came for Drew from his friend, Bailey! What a sweet gesture!  And ... Andrew received this cool class of 2020 tee shirt in the mail today from grandma.  Lucky guy to have all this love!

Jenna and I went to Grannies. Her cat went missing, but was found under her porch today! All good. Phew

This week was going to have been a busy one for our family. Drew’s graduation luncheon was to be held Wednesday, a weeks worth of practices, and parties and then Friday night Andrew’s Graduation and Prom.
