Las Vegas Trip- Day 4

Loveland, CO to Glenwood Springs, CO

We started the day at Target so these Avengers fans could purchase the latest movie released today!

Heading towards Rocky Mountain National Park. From Loveland we were very quickly riding through some very scenic mountains.

We stopped at a Rock Shop.

We made it to the park!

He wanted our lunch.

We ate lunch in Hidden Valley.

Hairpin Turns By Driver Dave

We’re up high! 12,000 feet high at the top of the park.

Do you know what happens to potato chip bags at 12,000 feet elevation? They pop!  A whole tray of popping Sun Chip bags.

And after a short 2 1/2 hour drive after leaving the park we arrived at our next stop. We stopped at the hotel and ate dinner and rested. At 7 pm we headed to Glenwood Hot Springs. The worlds largest hot spring pool. This is Drew’s second time visiting this place!

Las Vegas Trip- Day 3

Topeka KS to Loveland, CO. 592 miles

We stopped in Salina, KS so the rest of the family could try the burgers at The Cozy Inn.

The return of windmills in the western part of Kansas.  My pictures don’t do them justice

We stopped in Ellis, KS for a play break.

Las Vegas Trip -Day 2

Plainfield, IN to Topeka, KS..... 554 miles...tooo many miles 

The day started out great... Ava won $9 on a scratch off lottery ticket as we rolled out of our hotel this morning.

We arrived in St. Louis on time... right at lunch, we found a great parking space and headed to the arch

Here we are heading to the arch.

We arrived at Gateway of the Arch Museum and the girls checked out the pod.

Jenna called Grandma. Dad got tickets to ride to the top... problem was our wait was 2 hours...

So we went back outside to check out the scene.

Las Vegas Trip - Day 1

Mount Airy, MD to Plainfield, IN. 585 miles!

Day number one of our trip was mostly spent driving!
