Las Vegas Trip - Day 10
Hays, KS to Kansas City, KS. 261 miles
Kansas windmills ... again..
How we pass the time.
Did you know Dave is obsessed with cleaning out the car trash? This sight is rare to have trash bags in the car... and there are two!!!
Our ride was short today because we stopped at Great Wolf Lodge to have some water park fun.

Ava preferred the displays at Cabellas. We even lost her in the store.
We had a short drive today. Just no way to get home fast!

Grand Junction, CO to Hays, KS. 592 miles
We’re making the long trek home!
We drove a lot today. We left beautiful Colorado too.... our drive today was mostly through the Rocky Mountains. We hit Kansas at about 7pm.

Las Vegas Trip - Day 8
Las Vegas, NV to Grand Junction, CO. 530 miles

Such beautiful scenery all day long.
Tonight on Main Street in Grand Junction.
Lots of sculptures. I know she isn’t supposed to be on the sculpture. No one listens to me.
We arrived pretty early in Grand Junction tonight, arrived to a room type we didn’t reserve. We barely had enough room with one bed and zero floor space for the mattresses I travel with. We spent about an hour tonight trying to figure the best sleeping arrangement, when the front desk guy Ed.. “from the front desk” called to say he did find a different room for us... so we packed up everything and found our new room.
