Fall Weekend Fun/LGS Awareness

This snake was at Jenna & Ava's school for the Fall Festival.  Amelia joined them and had fun holding the snakes while her sisters played with their friends.

 

Here we are (minus Ava - she was at a sleepover) at the LGS Super Heroes Awareness Day Event at Port Discovery in Baltimore.  We are all wearing our super hero outfits.  The announcer asked during the ceremony if any LGS kids did not have an IPAD.  If they didn't families were asked to put their names in a fish bowl to randomly select a winner for a new IPAD.  When the time came to pick the winner, the host asked for a volunteer so Jenna made her way to the microphone and picked out Andrew's name!  Yippee!!  Happy girls.

 

It was unusually warm today -80 plus degrees, but we carved our pumpkins this evening!

And the finished product! Amelia may be winning the carving contest over her dad!

Drew has a purple painted pumpkin this year for Epilepsy Awareness.

Saturday afternoon we went to an Alpaca farm in Liberytown.  Drew enjoyed touching the alpaca.

The girls loved climbing on the hay bales.

 Sunday morning we went to Jumbos.  We think it's been about 16 years now.

 Amelia found this pumpkin and carried it for quite awhile.

Washington Nationals Playoffs - GAME 1

We had tickets to Game 1 of the playoffs - just us!  It was fun.  We lost.....

Ava is 11!

 

 

Ava didn't have school today on her 11th birthday, so it was a quiet day.  Amelia and Jenna decorated our kitchen this morning.  This afternoon we went out for ice cream and had cake and hamburgers on the grill for dinner.  Ava loved her skinny jeans, cat socks, Avengers DVD's, lip gloss, and perfumes.  Happy 11th Birthday Sweet Ava!
