Egg Fun

 We made this contraption and entered it into the Urbana Library Egg Drop Contest today.

 

Our Eggs-cellent Sisters contraption survived the first drop.  There were about 15 entries.

 

It survived the 2nd drop!  (from the 2nd floor)

 

and IT SURVIVED THE THIRD DROP (from the roof!)

Our device along with two others survived.  Here are the winners!

HAPPY FATHER' DAY, DAVE!

11th grade, 6th grade and 4th grade COMPLETE!

 

A little sadness today as Ava got off the school bus.  She doesn't want school to end, and a few of her friends are moving and won't return in the fall.

 

Drew was happy though!  He has a few weeks off!

 

Amelia was happy that school was over!  She has this middle school thing down!

Jenna -1st Grade Complete

Jenna's last day of school was today ( a day early).  Here she is with Mrs. Wiehler.

I asked Jenna to make a list of what she might like for snacks for her upcoming car trip with Dave.  This is her list.

First Grade Celebration - Jenna!

 

Grannie came today to Jenna's year end first grade celebration.

 

 

Here is Jenna reading her non-fiction story about Oreo the cat being an outdoor cat who eats a lot of mice and then becomes an indoor cat.  That's her teacher too - Mrs. Wiehler.

 

During the music show, Jenna was given the job to introduce "Jack and the Beanstalk"
