Grannie's Georgetown Reunion

Grannie, Ava, Collin and I returned again this year to Georgetown for their Alumni Weekend.  It was a beautiful day!

START of summer!!!

The girls had ice cream with their friend Stella on Friday night...after some McDonalds.

This morning at the 5K Memorial Day Race for Epilepsy Research in Middletown.  Here are the girls wondering why they don't get at number to run in the kids race, and wondering where they will even run, and just plain confused and on the verge of mad.

Here's Ava after all the confusion at the finish line!! - 1st Place in the Kids ten and under 2k!  Go Ava!

Amelia came in 2nd!  Here they are happy after the race with their medals recovering!

We had a great weekend, a touch of sickness is in the house, but still LOTS of getting the pool ready.. Oh.. When will the pool be ready!??? (Your guess is as good as mine.)

Fifty Years/10 Years

Amelia's 10th Adoption Day is today!

 Today, we celebrated Grandpa & Grandma's Fifty Years Wedding Anniversary at Positano's Restaurant in Bethesda.

Jenna's Pre-School (Kiddie Hawks) Graduation

Jenna's morning pre-k graduation was tonight at the Urbana High School auditorium.  The theme of the evening was "A Kiddie Hawk Cruise".  The kids performed in several small tropical beachy skits.  The one above is "Hula Dance".   Jenna did great - lots of moving around, trying to position herself near the microphone, bows and almost showing beneath her dress.  We got up to hear a dad, say "that girl isn't shy".  I did confirm with Jenna's teacher afterwards that she really DOES sit still in class.  When Jenna was given her diploma we learned a few things about Jenna... "she wants to be a chef when she grows up, loves working on worksheeets in class and just wants to have fun".

My brother Josh and his wife welcomed baby Ivy Elise into the world today.
