We had our picture taken with The Presidents and the Gecko.
I worked hard for two weeks preparing for our yard sale. My happy girls spent some or our yard sale earnings across the street at our neighbors house. This activity had Amelia's name on it!!

Sunflowers

Heard from my friend Ann at the end of last week, that there were indeed sunflower fields this year, just in slightly different locations. So.. even after Dave warned me today was the start of hunting season we did try to go get our annual photos in the fields. Our first location, bustling with hunters wasn't accessible to any of us, the second location was accessible to the girls and I. We had a half hour to get our pictures and get the heck out of there before all the hunters began firing. The sunflowers were smaller this year, lots of weeds, bugs and seemed to be at the end of their bloom, oh yes and all the men in camoflauge wandering about didn't help things either.. The highlight this year - the heart shaped leaves which had fallen on the path to the field.
