FIELD DAY!

Here are the girls with their Field Day backpacks. Amelia & Ava have been up since 6am anxiously waiting for Field Day at school today. Ava has been very worried about whether she should wear her bathing suit, her sunblock, her shoes, bring a water bottle, what to pack in her bag... I told her to trust me. This is the girls first Field Day at their new school. Can't wait to hear how it went. BTW.. (Jenna of course also had her Field Day backpack. She needs to get to school! Can we just enroll her in Kindergarten now???)

A Weekend to CELEBRATE!

We had a busy weekend celebrating! The kids were off school on Friday for the G8 Summit in Thurmont, so Dave came home early and we went strawberry picking. That night, we celebrated Amelia's adoption day with a special brownie treat. Amelia & Dave went to a fly fishing clinic on Saturday while Ava and I attempted to make strawberry jam. We opened our pool last weekend and are still working on the water.... It's too cold to swim yet, right??? We had our first Jimmie Cone of the season, and SURPRISE our first old timey car show of the season! We celebrated Dave's 44th birthday today with a special breakfast..strawberry smoothies, and a special seafood feast dinner with Grandpa and Grandma. We also celebrated our niece Eileen and her Graduation from high school today! My first date with Dave was the night of Eileen's Baptism.... time flies...

Mother's Day

Woke up this morning to many gifts from my kids! Amelia and Ava were up at 6am waiting for Dave to get up and take them to pick up breakfast and surprise me. Dave took the girls out while Drew and I snuggled.

We took the mom tour this morning, only to see my mom. I guess we should have told the moms about the tour before we began! Happy Mother's Day!

Busy Day

Jenna and I spent our morning at Green Meadows Petting Farm. We saw and touched lots of babies and even went on a hayride.

I got a new camera!!

We went to a Frederick Keys Baseball game tonight with Shain and Ava's friend Jasmyn. We are having our Foster's Grill Friday night dinner late tonight!!

Itsy Bitsy

I found Jenna in her room this morning just like this..... She was on her rocking chair and had "wrapped up" herself and her baby. She was singing to her baby and her monkey the Itsy Bitsy Spider song. I thought the whole thing was cute.

Amelia's First Communion

This morning Amelia received her First Communion. We met Grandma and Grandpa at our church for the Mass. We then went out to lunch and came back here for cake. The first two photos are Amelia at the house, then Amelia with her sisters, Grandma & Grandpa with Amelia afterwards, and lastly, Amelia, Katie and Stella (our neighbors).

Amelia's 1st Communion is on Saturday. Our neighbor and her daughter invited Amelia and I to have our nails done as a surprise special treat this evening. Amelia thought we were running errands, but no - she got her first official manicure and pedicure. She says she wants to do it again!
