For St. Patrick's Day and in memory of my proud Irish grandmother, Alberta Kelly Menig, the girls wore their handmade Irish knit sweaters which my grandma made for my brothers and I when we were young. The sweaters are beautiful works of art and I know my grandma would be so happy to see the kids in her sweaters. Drew had his sweater on as well, but I just couldn't get that picture...

Happy St. Patrick's Day, and Happy Birthday to my mom tomorrow!

Kitchen Remodel

Updated Kitchen..

It may be hard to tell in the above photos....BUT....since we moved in here just about a year ago, we have wanted to do a little updating to the kitchen- specifically the hard to clean tile countertops and back splash.

We've been working hard- tackling new territory.. we have had granite counters and a new backsplash installed, Dave painted the walls and ceiling, Dave installed three new lights and we've updated our accessories a bit.
