Daisy Ava

Today was Ava's Investiture Ceremony with her Daisy Troop.

Tonight Ava is at a Daisy event - Pricess Fashion Show. That's Ava and her friend Jasmyn.

Ice & Water

Amelia, Ava and Collin went ice skating this past Monday on their day off from school. Lots of falling...Yikes..

Jenna has "graduated" from her swim class.

Father/Daughter Dance

I signed Amelia, Ava and Dave up for the Girl Scout "Under the Sea" Father/Daughter Dance. The girls weren't eager about going. They didn't want to dress up, get their hair done and so on. Lots of whining and complaining. Ava even complained about how embarrassing it would be dancing with Daddy. One person though was eager about it tonight - picking out her own Eeeeaaaw Princess dress, asking for her tights, shoes and princess crown for her hair.

Of course Jenna did smooooze her way into going to the dance tonight... Now....was she able to smoooze the dance organizers in letting her in? I hope they let them in!!!

It's nice and quiet here tonight - just me and my boy. Lovely!!

School Snow

The scene here after school today, not as much fun when you don't miss school..... How much snow will we get?

34 MONTHS

My stubborn, or you could say bossy girl is 34 months today!

Here is Jenna this morning - day number 2 of her swim class. The purpose of this class is to get the kids used to being around the water. Jenna is comfortable in the water, and in Jenna style is trying to get away from me. I let her go, she goes under and gives me a look....why did you let go of me? The teacher said there is always one in her class who wants to just swim away. We'll be taking this class for the whole month of February.

About 3 weeks ago, Jenna decided not to wear a diaper anymore. She is very good about using her potty, using it and even cleaning up after herself. I'm on my toes even more than normal these days! Jenna is also enjoying wearing no underwear at all. We do have a bit more work to do. :)

Closing in on 3, little Jenna is still the boss of the house, telling me where she'll sit in the car, if she'll shower or take a bath, she's staking claim to ALL the toys, video games, tv time, and even Ava's clothes.
