The firepit.....crafted by Dave. He's been talking about this for quite awhile. Voila! - just as he said! It looks darn nice! And just wanted to give props to Dave..... do you know he had the exact number of stones to make the ring?

Yes, there is wood decking around the pit, yes the hope is that we will not burn down the whole deck, and yes the neighbor did just now disclose and bring to our attention that there is NO water in the fire hydrant on our street. Yes, check on all of that.......

BRIDGE to BROWNIES

That's Amelia right before the rain and just after the noisy thunder-filled ceremony where she walked across the stage (bridge) at Kemptown Park and received her Brownie vest and pin. Hopefully next school year will bring some more fun new activities with her troop.

26 months

Jenna is 26 months old today! She's talking a lot, but is shy with people she doesn't know - she will actually freeze in place with her head down if someone new is talking to her - even if her favorite lollipop is part of the equation! She's singing all her songs (ABC's, Row, Row your Boat, You are my Sunshine...) and still loves her books where you ask her where things are and what her letters and numbers are. She's loving the pool along with her brother and sisters. She's swimming with her floaties and jumping in just like her sisters. She will bring you the wipes and diaper and tell us it's time to be changed. She's taking care of her babies - feeding and changing them. She's not the biggest eater, but her favorites are chicken, "butter" (peanut butter), and anything chocolate. She's enjoying the tv more - watching Wiggles, Barney, Drew's singing VHS tapes, Little Einsteins, and Elmo. She likes to wear her dresses and her pretty clothes, but if you ask her "Who's a princess?" - she'll say Eeeaaaww.
