AVA'S Adoption Day - 4 years later....

Today we are celebrating FOUR years since we brought our Ava home.
That's Ava and I in Guatemala City just a day after we met in person in 2006.
Looks like I've got a tight grip on her.....
Ava has dance class at dinner time tonight, so Ava and I shared a special lunch - Egg Rolls & Egg Drop Soup! Ava's favorite.
Happy Adoption Day Ava!

Dancing at The Frederick Fair

Ava was asked by her dance teacher to be a part of a presentation yesterday at The Frederick Fair. We all went to cheer Ava on. She did great showing off her dancing moves - "Toy Chest", "Are you Ready?", "Let's Go" and many more.
GO AVA!!!!

"Chimp" Car

Our yard sale find is a hit!
Jenna loves her car and is all smiles while riding.
She'll say "car" and "me" when looking for someone to push her.

17 Months

Today - 90210 - Jenna is 17 months!

A brief Jenna update... Jenna says "Drew", "Here ya go", "Hi", "Ssssss", "Mooo", "More", "Baaa", "All Done", "Night-Night", "Golly-golly", "Dada", "MaMa". Jenna's still always on the go. She's always climbing higher and higher on table tops, on top of riding toys...you name it. Jenna likes to use her fork, and her toothbrush. She knows where to put the dvd into the player - not to watch a movie though, just to do it...... As Dave says, she's figuring everything out. She knows the popsicles the girls eat come from the fridge. She'll stand by the freezer and point and say "ma" until she gets her popsicle. Jenna's on a pretty solid schedule, still taking her one super nap in the middle of the day. All in all, Jenna is very easy going - just very, very busy.

House update.... Our offer for the new house was flat out REJECTED, mainly due to the fact that they would not accept our HTS Contigency, so on to a new strategy. More to come as that unfolds...
