Happy Birthday Andrew!

Can't believe you are ten years old.

Today was the last day of camp. Andrew was a shark in the school fashion show as his part in the end of camp talent show. Jenna and I watched the show and then joined Andrew and his class for lunch. Amelia and Ava spent the morning playing with Grandma. Tonight we'll have a favorite dinner of Andrew's, pizza, cake, presents and then off to the pool to swim. What could be better...

Jenna's Baptism

Jenna was Baptized yesterday by Father Mike at St. Ignatius' Catholic country church here in Urbana. Our family along with Grannie, cousin Collin, Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle Steve, Aunt Heather and cousins Abigail and Bethany shared the day with us.

Urbana Carnival

We've lived in our house for a little over 6 years now and each summer we look forward to the local fire department sponsored carnival. Last night was the night we all went to the carnival to get our yearly fix (okay mine and Dave's yearly fix - the girls would still be there now and wouldn't ever leave if they had their way). All week long the girls begged and pleaded to go to the "carnibal" during every outing made in the car. So FINALLY, the girls rode their rides (even a real pony who pooped right there in front of us!!) , and we ate cotton candy. Drew put up with us while Jenna slept in the Bjorn carrier, we ran into cousin Collin, and finally we even tried to win yet ANOTHER goldfish. If the goldfish were lucky enough to be won by us he could join the other two unnamed goldfish which we've had now for way to many years, but no....it wasn't in the cards for us to have another goldfish.... Oh yes, and I forgot to mention the fireworks the night before - that was my favorite....

The photos show Ava in her shining moment on the pony, Amelia not scared at all with dad on the bumble bees, Drew enjoying the night and the picture of Jenna was my attempt to put a hat on her if the sun were to be too much at 7:00 in the evening. After much discussion though she looked quite cute for the house, but not for her public!

100 Days

Dave reminded me today that Jenna has been with us for 100 days. We can't believe how much she has grown - smiling, laughing, and very proud of herself perched up on her belly checking out all the action in the house. To think..... just a year ago we had no clue - our lives would be changing in a huge way - we were about to be blessed with the greatest gift.

My brother Josh welcomed his second son into the world today at 1:17 this morning. Welcome Jaxson Raymond.
